Did you know that as a parent of a child under the age of 21 with physical disabilities, you might be eligible to become a paid caregiver for your own child? This initiative, supported by Georgia Medicaid through the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), acknowledges the relentless effort and love you invest in your child's well-being every day.

GAPP SERVICES OFFERED TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN NEED

OF IN-HOME CARE SERVICES

  • Trach Care (Including Changing and Cleaning)

  • Medication Administration

  • Observation

  • Bagging via Trach or Mouth

  • Communication Issues to Nurse or Doctor

  • Feeding Assistance

  • Turn or Reposition Assistance

  • Gastrostomy Tube Care (Including Tube Feeding, Cleaning, Changing)

  • Respiratory Treatment (Nebulizer, Vest, CPT Treatments)

  • Change Sheets and Bed Linens

  • Take Vitals

  • Dressing

  • Wheelchair Assistance

  • Take Vital Signs

  • Collect Treatment Plan

  • Hygiene Care (Bathing, Oral Care, etc.)

  • Bathing

  • Transfers
